Earrings built around a real mouse jawbone, with a metal cross set with a red stone at the lower end. Primal bone, a sacred cross and a red heart, for those not afraid to look at the shadow side of life.
Symbology
The mouse jawbone is mortality and the fragility of life, standing for feeding, survival and the physical side of living, a reminder that everything alive is temporary. The cross is faith, protection and inner conflict, marking the border between light and shadow and raising quiet questions of faith and existence. The red stone is blood and life force, carrying sacrifice and an inner fire that holds even in darkness. The dark background brings out the contrast of bone and cross and stands for depth, silence and the unknown.

Materials
Real mouse jawbone sourced from owl pellets, a natural cycle in which no animal is harmed by human hands. Hand cleaned, dried and cast in resin. Metal alloy charm and hooks. Hooks can be swapped on request for silver or gold stainless steel, or S925 silver for a small surcharge.
